Out and About

For running errands, Converse are the best! They are comfy and good for walking yet super stylish. I also think jean shorts and a tank are the perfect throw on for a day on-the-go. I always head to J.crew or Madewell when looking for a perfect tank. And don't forget a Vente Green Tea from Starbucks to keep me going!

Today I spent the day with my friend in the Mosaic District, a really cool shopping center close to where I live. We had a delicious lunch at Cava then shopped around a little. We stumbled upon the cutest flower stand, Wildflower, and just had to buy some. The owner put together a beautiful bouquet of orange and yellow flowers (to match my house) and placed them in a blue mason jar. I love how mason jars can be utilized for almost anything. I love being able to throw on a skirt in the summer since it's easy and cute. I paired my outfit with Birkenstocks since I knew I would be walking around a lot and because I love them!

Happy 4th of July everyone! Unfortunately for me, it was a rather rainy day so I couldn't spend much time outside by the pool. However my friend Jackie and I were able to catch the few minutes of sun. We had a yummy lunch at a sushi place, Izumi Sushi, near by and then had some refreshing ice cream at a local creamery. I decided to go casual by wearing a favorite J.crew striped tank and some worn in jean shorts. I also layered my two favorite necklaces and wore a statement red ring so I could show off my red, white, and blue spirit! I wore my favorite new earrings which are known as 'ear jackets' and I am obsessed! I had a delicious BBQ with my family and am heading off to see some fireworks. I hope everyone had a great holiday!
