"The best vegetarian tacos for non-vegetarians" is right. Last night I tried Chaia DC for the first time and it exceeded my expectations. It's delicious "farm to taco" tacos feature farm fresh veggies, delicious cheeses, and are each topped off with micro-greens. Not only are they picture perfect with their bright colors but they are truly tasty. They combine flavors perfectly, my favorite being the butternut squash with caramelized onions and ricotta salata (the creamy kale and potato is a close second). In addition to the tacos, they have freshly pressed juices and shrubs (the Lemon Ginger was SO GOOD). The environment is also so warm and welcoming with natural lighting and succulent lined walls. If you have never been before, I 100% recommend going next time you are in the DC area.

Great Day Washington
Jacket: Madewell Dress: Anthropologie (Similar Here) Shoes: J.crew (Similar Here)
Sunnies: Illesteva Purse: Rebecca Minkoff
This past week my Fashion Marketing class was invited to see the taping of "Great Day Washington" at the WUSA9 studio in DC. It was such a cool experience to see how a live TV show is recorded. After the show we had lunch at Cava and then obviously had to stop by Georgetown Cupcake. There was no line which is crazy and extremely rare considering it was a perfect 70 degrees and sunny. Pictured, I am wearing my go-to military jacket over an easy dress from Anthro. Olive green and stripes is a perfect combo that will always work.

Spring Dress
Dress: Anthropologie Sweater: Madewell Shoes: Zara (Similar Here)
I recently got this dress from Anthropologie and it is the perfect throw on for spring and summer and they have it in so many colors. It is actually a tunic but I got it a size up so that I could wear it as a dress (Something I do with a lot of Anthro tunics). I am wearing it with my absolute favorite sweater from Madewell. I probably wear this cardigan 5 times a week, it matches everything and has the perfect slouchiness to it.

Trending Now: Lace-up
One of my absolute favorite trends right new is Lace-up tops and dresses! I love that they can be worn any way and can make an outfit more casual while still having the ability to dress it up. The white blouse is from Madewell and I am obsessed with it. It is so comfy and I wear it all the time! I also love the way the other two images are styled and they definitely serve as some inspiration (Lace-up Tassel & Denim Dress).
Chicago
Jacket: Barbour Purse: Rebecca Minkoff Sunglasses: Illesteva Shoes: Adidas
For spring break this year I headed to Chicago for the first time ever. It was amazing! There was so much fun shopping and so many beautiful sights to see. One thing that I didn't know beforehand was that Chicago is famous for it's doughnuts! We had some delicious ones from "Glazed and Infused" and "Stan's Doughnuts" (I recommend the glazed old fashioned at both). Some of the other great food spots we hit were Bottle Fork, Beatrix, and RPM Italian. I stopped by the Art Institute of Chicago with a good friend who lives right outside the city as well. Another cool spot to hit if you are in the city is the City Architecture Boat Tour. It was really fascinating learning about all of the diverse buildings in the city and the style of architecture they are. If you are headed to Chicago and want any more suggestions feel free to email me!

New York Trip
Skirt: South Moon Under (70% off) Shoes: Steve Madden Purse: Rebecca Minkoff
This past March I went on a trip to New York City with my Fashion Marketing class. I had such an amazing time and saw so many cool places. We started the day at the 10 Eleven Showroom (right across from Bryant Park). This was my favorite location of the day because it was SO beautiful. I couldn't stop taking pictures of the clothing racks, the ceiling, and the view (pictured above)! In addition to it being visually appealing, it was so interesting hearing about all of the career opportunities that come with being a buyer. After a presentation at the flagship Macy's, we headed off to the Theory headquarters. There, so many cool and interesting people talked to us about their diverse backgrounds and of course, the importance of internships!! Before heading home we made a quick shopping trip at Chelsea Market, where I got that delightful espresso milkshake.
