A Neutral Statement

Skirt: Need Supply Co.      Sweater: Zara      Purse: Kate Spade (Similar)      Shoes: Vans (Similar)

Animal prints are by far my favorite current trend. I love how it is a fun statement while still serving as an neutral, due to the colors. Pairing it with black makes for the perfect chic yet neutral outfit.
I got this amazing slip skirt from Need Supply in Richmond, VA. It's by Farrow, who makes the most iconic Simply Holly pants that you definitely would recognize (These cuties).
I paired the skirt with my go-to basic black sweater from Zara and to make it casual I wore some Vans. This skirt would also be super cute with hightop converse and to dress it up you could pair it with black booties.
Of course, what makes an outfit more chic than a pair of cat eye sunnies?

I wore this outfit on an excursion to the new Anthropologie & Co in Bethesda, MD. It's a massive 3 floor Anthro, combining Terrain, Home, and BHLDN (Wedding). I had lunch at the Terrain cafe, where I had a delicious Avocado Toast with some of the best roasted chickpeas I've ever tasted. Overall, a very cool Anthro experience!

As always, feel free to comment or email with any questions!

Milan Fashion Week

Dress: Zara (Similar)      Booties: Halogen      Sunnies: Le Specs

Fashion week is an exciting and busy time in Milano. The streets are bustling with the most fashionable people you have ever seen, all of whom are on the move. There are so many events, concerts, and aperitivos, all of which of are jam packed full of locals.
Here is a round up of how I celebrated the best week of the year!

I started off my day at the Vogue New Talents event right in my neighborhood of Brera. They were showcasing some up and coming young designers and it was so amazing to see all the young talents.

Following the Vogue event, I went to the Fila exhibit. It was so interesting to see the evolution of the brand from purely ski and tennis wear, to basketball, and today, street style.

I absolutely fan-girled when I saw Chiara Ferragni right outside of my apartment!!!

I then made my way to Fondazione Prada where they were holding the Prada show. I waited with the masses outside to see all of the fabulous front row looks. I saw the stunning Caro Daur and Chiara once again, all decked out in their Prada neons.

After the Prada show I made my way to the Moschino show where I saw Gigi Hadid close out the show in the stunning wedding dress look (through the window hehe). I have no photos to show since it was night time and I didn't want to be obnoxious with flash. Overall, an amazing experience! Maybe some day I will be watching from inside ;)

An Italian Paradise

Swimsuit: & Other Stories      Shorts: Madewell (Similar)      Bandana: Madewell

Cinque Terre, Italy; an absolute paradise! From the dreamy water to the picture perfect umbrellas and the colorful homes, photos barely do it justice! My friends and I took a weekend getaway to the coast and enjoyed a day at the beach and of course some delicious seafood. We stayed in an Airbnb in the town of Levanto which was an easy train ride away from the main towns. We spent the day at the beaches of Monterosso al Mare. Cinque Terre is a really popular place for hiking, specifically between the various towns. Unfortunately the trails were closed the weekend I went, but I've only heard great things! If you go, make sure to try the seafood cone from the stand right outside of the train station in the main town, seriously TOO good.
I decided to go with a bright pop of red swimsuit (to match the colorful coast) and these easy throw on Madewell denim shorts. To complete the look I tied a bandana in my hair and paired it with my cat eye sunnies to give it a fun vintage feel.
